About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Microsoft Copilot Studio & Azure AI Foundry Developer to work for our global Security & Defence client. This is initially a 3-month contract with potential to extend and is a fully remote role.

You will design, develop, and deploy generative AI solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry. This role focuses on building enterprise-grade AI assistants, integrating them into business workflows, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure AI copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including prompt engineering, orchestration, and plugin integration.
  • Build and manage AI workflows using Azure AI Foundry, including model selection, fine-tuning, and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms.
  • Implement responsible AI practices, including bias detection, explainability, and security.
  • Monitor and optimize AI performance using telemetry and feedback loops.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with Azure AI services (OpenAI, Cognitive Services, AI Search).
  • Proficiency in Copilot Studio for creating domain-specific copilots and connectors.
  • Knowledge of Python, C#, or TypeScript for API integration and automation.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD for AI solution deployment.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM orchestration.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Autogen AI or similar orchestration frameworks (basic exposure acceptable).
  • Knowledge of data governance and enterprise security standards.
