About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to work for our client within the Energy/Infrastructure sector. This is initially a 3–4 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in Warwick.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to support the formation and operation of a new joint venture (JV). This role will define and govern the IT decision-making framework, ensuring clear architectural guardrails, structured governance, and alignment with strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and govern the IT decision-making framework aligned to organisational strategy and principles.
  • Lead executive-level workshops to translate strategic intent into actionable guardrails and roadmaps.
  • Conduct structured evaluations of JV formation and operational scenarios, assessing cost, risk, and time-to-value.
  • Establish governance structures with Cyber Security, Risk & Compliance, EA, and IT Operations.
  • Produce and review reference models, capability maps, patterns, and adoption plans.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Enterprise Architect in complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Broad technical understanding across applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in enterprise architecture or IT strategy leadership.
