About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Architect to work for our client within the Energy/Infrastructure sector. This is initially a 3–4 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in Warwick.

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Architect to shape the business architecture underpinning a new joint venture (JV), defining capabilities, governance, and value frameworks across the JV lifecycle from formation through operation to exit.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and model business capabilities and processes across the JV lifecycle (formation, operation, exit).
  • Develop governance frameworks, decision criteria, and compliance touchpoints for IT and operational choices.
  • Build value cases, benefits maps, and outline cost models for preferred options.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to capture requirements and adoption needs.
  • Deliver the Target Operating Model (TOM), service catalog, RACI, and change impact assessments.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Architect or Enterprise Business Designer.
  • Strong capability in operating model design, process architecture, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience building value and benefits models and aligning them with business strategy.
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business architecture or enterprise design.
