About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy, currently looking for a Data Analyst to join one of our clients in the financial services industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale datasets and contribute to data-driven business strategies across international markets.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering analytics projects for global businesses. Your responsibilities will include analysing complex datasets, developing data pipelines, automating workflows, and supporting data testing and deployment. You'll also help build scalable solutions and contribute to business intelligence and reporting initiatives, while resolving performance issues and collaborating closely with other teams.

This position requires a mix of strong technical and analytical skills. You should be confident working with scripting languages, handling large data volumes, and following structured processes. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot data issues independently are essential. You’ll also need solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a performance-oriented environment.

About You

What we expect:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, mathematical, or related field, and around 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience working with large datasets and scripting (e.g., Bash or Perl).
  • Familiarity with data workflow and processing tools (such as Airflow, Kafka, or NiFi) and basic knowledge of Linux/Windows environments, networking (e.g., TCP/IP), and debugging.
  • At least B2 level English and the ability to work effectively in a structured, performance-oriented setting.
  • Bonus points for experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), container tools (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform), or data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.

What we offer:

  • A clear and supported career path with access to training and certifications.
  • Opportunities for re-skilling and upskilling through continuous learning.
  • Ongoing support from FDM teams and client-side mentors.
  • Real-world project experience and access to a global professional network.
  • Benefits: Insurance, medical care, well-being support, sports card, and training courses.
