About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Delivery Manager to work for our client within the financial services sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Kraków, Poland

Our client is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead complex change initiatives, working across multiple stakeholders, teams and locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering large-scale change programmes, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement and alignment with strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead change initiatives from inception through to successful delivery and closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business and project stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, regulatory requirements and delivery standards.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and drive alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Support programme reporting, project tracking and effective decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues and blockers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.

About You

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering complex projects across multiple countries, regions or business functions.
  • Experience within banking, financial services or large shared services organisations.
  • Proven track record delivering significant business or technology change initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including running meetings remotely in English.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational and delivery management capabilities.
  • Experience with project governance, reporting and project tracking.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • Project management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, MSP or AgilePM.
  • Experience working within large-scale transformation or regulatory change programmes.
  • Experience managing global stakeholder groups and distributed teams.
