About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Product Owner to work for our client within the financial services sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Kraków, Poland

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy and delivery of a digital product serving multiple global booking centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product development from concept to launch, working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, UX specialists and technology partners to deliver client-focused digital solutions aligned with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the digital product vision, roadmap and delivery milestones across multiple regions and booking centres.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams, including Business Analysts and key technology stakeholders.
  • Translate business objectives into clear product requirements and prioritised backlogs.
  • Drive agile product delivery in partnership with development, architecture and UX teams.
  • Ensure solutions comply with legal, regulatory and governance requirements across markets.
  • Manage customer testing activities, including prototypes, proof-of-concepts and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with business owners and change teams to support successful product implementation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify product enhancements.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations throughout delivery.

About You

Requirements:

  • Strong experience as a Product Owner, Digital Product Manager or similar product leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of Wealth Management, Private Banking or Financial Services products and customer journeys.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory considerations impacting digital products across multiple markets.
  • Strong experience delivering digital products using Agile methodologies and product management best practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, UX designers, software engineers and QA teams.
  • Proven end-to-end product delivery experience, from discovery and definition through to launch and performance management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and drive alignment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategy into actionable product outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across global teams and business functions.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking or Global Private Banking environments.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing digital products across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of digital proposition development, customer experience design and product innovation.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and strategic delivery partners.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
