About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Low Code Developer to work for our client within the travel sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a skilled Low Code Developer to join their agile team, building automation solutions and applications using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project specialists to deliver innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll design, develop, and deploy automation workflows and business applications using UiPath for robotic process automation and the Power Platform suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Working within an agile framework, you'll participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives while collaborating with cross-functional team members to understand requirements, prototype solutions, and iterate based on feedback.
  • You'll be responsible for maintaining code quality, creating documentation, and supporting the solutions you build through their lifecycle.

About You

  • You should have demonstrable experience developing solutions in both UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform, with a solid understanding of automation principles, data integration, and workflow design.
  • You'll need strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working in agile environments is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with best practices around testing, version control, and deployment processes to ensure your solutions are robust and maintainable.

What We're Looking For

We value collaborative team players who can work independently when needed, take ownership of their work, and continuously look for ways to improve processes. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities, and contributing ideas during planning and problem-solving sessions with the wider team.
