About The Role

Are you passionate about shaping talent and driving innovation? We’re looking for a dynamic Team Lead based in Sydney to manage and elevate our Skills Lab in Australia and New Zealand. This is a unique opportunity to guide and grow future talent, lead a high-performance team, influence strategy, and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders across the APAC region.

*This role will require some out of hours’ time to attend regional and global management meetings.*

Key Role Responsibilities

· Manage the course schedule in collaboration with the local Sales and recruitment teams to ensure alignment with client demand and industry trends.

 · Hire and onboard coaches based on the clients’ demands.

· Create a positive inclusive learning environment for consultants, coaches, and all stakeholders.

· Attend external Client meetings to understand their coaching requirements

· Ensure timely communication of Skills Lab activities and changes with external departments.

· Effectively manage Skills Lab operations and overall consultants’ experience and performance.

· Deliver coaching as required, this may be face to face and online

· Represent the Skills Lab in Assessment centres for new consultants

· Implement training/coaching plans that prepare consultants for their placements aligned with the clients’ requirements.

· Efficiently implement Skills Lab processes, proactively identify and escalate risks, and prioritize course delivery and resources allocation based on sales demands

· Oversee all resources needed to deliver the coaching commitments agreed upon with the business and act proactively to ensure smooth Skills Lab operations and an overall high-quality coaching experience.

About You

· Educated to degree level preferably in an ITC related degree

· Self-motivated and able to work under pressure 10+ years commercial experience in an IT / BA / PM role

· Project Management Experience

· Technical training/coaching experience

· Experience managing a small team

· Superior interpersonal skills with a passion for growing and developing junior tech talent

· Comfortable in pushing back or compromising on requirements where necessary

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Confident and comfortable attending external senior stakeholder meetings

· Proactive approach to learning new technologies to broaden coverage of existing technical modules

· A champion of diversity and inclusion across all stages of the consultant journey
