About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Wholesale Lending Migration Lead (ACBS to Loan IQ) to work for our client within the Wholesale Banking / Corporate & Investment Lending sector.

This is initially a 6-month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role, based in London, Manchester, or Radbroke (candidates must be commutable to one of these locations).

Our client is seeking a senior level migration lead to take end-to-end ownership of a large-scale Wholesale Lending platform migration from ACBS to Finastra Fusion Loan IQ. This is a hands-on leadership role within Lending Operations, responsible for driving migration execution across data, processes, risk & control, testing, and operational readiness. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated migration pod, work closely with technology and operations teams, and play a critical role in delivering a complex, time-sensitive roadmap with regular migration events.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a migration pod and drive execution of Wholesale Lending migrations from ACBS to Loan IQ, including dry runs and live cutovers
  • Own data migration, reconciliation, and issue resolution, ensuring data quality pre- and post-migration
  • Partner closely with Operations, Technology, Controls, and Testing teams to deliver end-to-end migration readiness
  • Define, execute, and sign off testing strategies, scenarios, scripts, and go/no-go decisions
  • Support transition into BAU, providing on-site operational support, guidance, and escalation during migration phases

About You

  • Strong hands-on experience with ACBS within Corporate / Investment Banking Lending Operations
  • Proven experience with Finastra Fusion Loan IQ in an operational, migration, or implementation capacity (not mortgage processing)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Wholesale / Corporate Lending products and servicing processes
  • Confident Excel user with experience handling large data volumes and reconciliations
  • Comfortable leading stakeholders at all levels, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
