About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Analysis Manager to join one of our key clients on a major, multi‑year transformation programme. This hybrid role is based in Edinburgh, Cheshire or Glasgow, offering the opportunity to lead and shape analysis across one of the organisation’s most critical change initiatives.

The programme is transitioning outsourced operations, people, platforms and data back in‑house. A core element of this work involves a large‑scale data migration, moving complex policy, customer and operational data onto new strategic platforms. As Analysis Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the business analysis function supporting this migration- ensuring requirements are robust, data structures and rules are well understood, and business processes are accurately defined across systems, workflows, telephony, and CRM solutions.

This role is ideal for a senior‑level analyst with leadership experience who can see the bigger picture while also driving high‑quality, detailed analysis outputs across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts, managing performance, coaching, and career development.
  • Oversee analysis across multiple projects simultaneously, managing workload and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate scoping and prioritisation activities for large or complex change initiatives.
  • Provide strong stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation.
  • Support and guide the team in eliciting requirements through effective workshop facilitation.
  • Drive the adoption of consistent modelling standards, taking on advanced modelling for significant projects.
  • Lead analysis for data‑migration elements, ensuring data definitions, structures, and transformation rules are clearly documented and aligned.
  • Assess alternative solutions, evaluating feasibility, risks, costs and benefits.
  • Produce clear, high‑quality analysis outputs, including requirements, process maps, and business designs.

About You

  • Experienced people manager with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Deep expertise in business analysis methods, modelling techniques and business design.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence and collaborate at senior levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, able to articulate complex concepts simply.
  • Strong understanding of business structures, capabilities, and operating models.
  • High‑level data analysis skills; experience with analytical tools is advantageous.
  • Experience within financial services or pensions is beneficial.
  • Experience with migrations, integrations, or large‑scale transformation programmes is highly desirable.
