About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the Energy sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Coventry (1 day per week onsite). 
 

Our client is delivering a major regulatory change programme focused on Market Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS). This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping and delivering business and system change across settlement, billing and data processes, working closely with regulatory, operational and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead business analysis activities across MHHS and wider regulatory change initiatives.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, processes and data flows
  • Conduct impact assessments and support solution design for settlement and billing changes
  • Act as a key liaison between business teams, technology teams and third-party suppliers
  • Support delivery through change lifecycle including UAT, implementation and go-live

About You

  • Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the UK energy market
  • Proven hands-on experience with Market Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) programmes
  • Experience working with settlement, billing, metering or industry data flows
  • Skilled in requirements documentation (BRDs, user stories), process mapping and data analysis
  • Confident stakeholder manager across business, technology and regulatory functions
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role
