Software Tester

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Software Tester to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 4 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a Software Tester to hit the ground running to support on their Minerva project, a cloud‑based investment management platform.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse and translate a test basis into clear, concise test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect summaries
• Able to engage with senior business stakeholders, provide updates, and articulate risks or issues effectively
• Working collaboratively with development, product, and business teams to ensure smooth delivery and alignment
• Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment

• Minimum of 4 years experience in testing with a strong background in System Integration Testing (SIT)
• Experience in data migration testing
• Hands-on expertise of various forms of interface testing i.e. API, sFTP, Data Transfer and migration. Use of integration testing tools i.e. Postman would be beneficial
• Skilled in Jira for test management, defect logging, tracking, and reporting
