About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Contract Demand Lead to work for our client within the Global System Integration sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in Telford. 

Our client is seeking individuals who are looking to work across multiple portfolios, help bring new business and play a crucial role in ensuring we consistently meet and exceed client expectations.

You will receive full training and ongoing support as you step into this fast‑paced and highly valued role. As a Contract Demand Lead, you are instrumental in ensuring high‑quality, compliant responses are delivered to the client within agreed timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming client cost requests from receipt through to formal response, ensuring all activities meet contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio teams, delivery teams, Contract Demand Lead colleagues, and subject matter specialists to create accurate, high‑quality responses.
  • Maintain a complete and auditable data trail for all demand requests to support MI reporting, compliance, and governance.
  • Ensure all quality checks, governance steps, and approvals are completed before issuing any response to the client.
  • Act as a process subject matter expert, supporting colleagues unfamiliar with Demand Management processes and helping resolve queries.
  • Monitor progress of requests to ensure deadlines and SLA commitments are met across all stakeholders.
  • Support team colleagues by providing cover where necessary, ensuring continuity of service and daily completion of responses when required.
  • Contribute to a strong team culture focused on excellent client experience and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with colleagues across delivery, commercial, finance, and portfolio functions.
  • Stakeholder management capability, ensuring smooth coordination between multiple internal teams.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests in a fastpaced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in data capture, audit compliance, and quality assurance tasks.
  • Understanding of finance principles relevant to cost estimation and request processing.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and JQL to track and manage request progress (training available if needed).
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional extended hours, to ensure responses are submitted within SLA requirements.
