About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is an initial 9‑month contract with strong prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Edinburgh to support our client who is delivering a regulatory change programme linked to Consumer Duty obligations.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Steer delivery across multiple regulatory project workstreams, ensuring alignment to agreed plans.
  • Manage RAID, track dependencies, and maintain project governance documentation.
  • Facilitate communication across senior stakeholders, ensuring clear and succinct project status reporting.
  • Drive delivery activities across both waterfall and agile‑led streams.
  • Ensure proactive management of timelines, deliverables, milestones, and FCA‑related commitments. 

About You

  • Must have regulatory experience / knowledge (essential).
  • Experience with Consumer Duty (desirable).
  • Strong core PM capabilities including planning, RAID, governance, and dependency management.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and navigate high‑profile programmes.
  • Delivery experience across both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Highly proactive communicator who can articulate project status concisely and take ownership of deadlines.
