About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Implementation Analyst / Business Analyst to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London

Our client is seeking 
a client-facing Implementation Analyst / Business Analyst to support the delivery of SaaS platform implementations for clients across the Asset Servicing and Corporate Actions space. This role is ideal for someone with around 2 years of Corporate Actions/Asset Servicing experience, who is looking to develop deeper expertise in client-facing delivery, system configuration, data analysis, and UAT support.
 
Responsibilities: 

You will work alongside senior analysts and project managers to help gather requirements, assist with configuration, investigate data issues using SQL, and support successful UAT cycles and go‑live events.

  • Requirements & Documentation: Assist in gathering business requirements, producing process maps, documenting specifications, and supporting workshop materials.
  • Implementation Support: Help configure SaaS modules, prepare data mapping documents, support conversion activities, and validate migrated data.
  • UAT Triage & Analysis: Support test planning, execute test cases, troubleshoot UAT issues, perform root-cause checks using SQL queries, and log defects clearly for technical teams.
  • Client Interaction: Join calls and workshops, assist in demo preparation, respond to client queries with guidance from senior team members, and support stakeholder updates.
  • Data & Integration: Support data extraction, validation, and reconciliation activities; assist with integration testing for upstream and downstream systems.
  • Project Coordination: Help maintain RAID logs, update status reports, track actions, and contribute to implementation playbooks and best practices.

About You

  • Foundational knowledge of Corporate Actions or Asset Servicing (around 2 years), including key event types and basic lifecycle understanding.
  • Basic SQL querying skills to retrieve and validate data, investigate UAT defects, and support reconciliation.
  • Exposure to system implementations or conversions, ideally involving SaaS or vendor platforms - participation is sufficient for this level.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work in a client-facing environment and collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindsetcomfortable working with large datasets, identifying issues, and documenting findings clearly.
