About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Product Manager to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London. 

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead key projects within their Asset Servicing Product Team. In this role, you will oversee a robust portfolio of customers, including leading Investment Banks, Wealth Managers, Custodians and Asset Managers.
 
This high visibility role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to our aggressive revenue growth targets while advancing scalable, innovative technologies for our clients. This will be a lead client facing Product role with the expectation of liaising with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, and lead on all product related decisions/engagements. 

Responsibilities
 
  • Product Delivery Lead - as the business / product lead, you will play the leading role in managing the delivery of the core product & project scope.
  • Managing & influencing client relationships across a range of stakeholders & both product and scope delivery
  • Managing and allocating work across team of BA's, Implementation Analysts & Developers
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings for assigned products, ensuring alignment with agile development processes
  • Own and manage the product feature delivery, working with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise features and functionality
  • Provide leadership by leveraging your industry expertise to guide less experienced product managers and teams
  • Collaborate with SMEs to define and scope new features that enhance existing products and support scalability
  • Maintain documentation, roadmaps and performance metrics for each product

About You

  • 10+ years of Asset Servicing experience with preferred expertise in capital markets or the financial services industry. A minimum of 5 in a Senior BA/ Senior Product/ Senior Product Lead role.
  • Experience implementing complex Wealth Management of Capital Markets projects in an Asset Servicing context.
  • Proven experience managing SaaS software products, particularly in regulated industries
  • Proficiency with product management tools such as Aha or Jira
  • Technical skills with SQL proficiency and experience with Power BI
  • In depth understanding of IS20022 & ISO15022 Corporate action message types 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority in matrixed organisations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding organisational abilities and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
