About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking Programme Support professionals (AVP and VP levels) to work for our client within the financial‑services sector.

This is initially a 6‑month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

Our client is seeking highly organised and proactive Programme Support specialists to join a major regulatory change initiative within their Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) function. This opportunity involves providing central governance, quality assurance, and delivery support across a suite of complex legal and regulatory change workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support central programme governance, including running forums, coordinating communications, and organising team meetings and events.
  • Assist in defining and executing transition‑to‑BAU activities, including process design, training materials, handovers, and communication planning.
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies and cross‑line‑of‑defence testing approaches.
  • Support the creation and refinement of management information (MI) requirements and reporting for multiple change initiatives.
  • Conduct Business Quality Control (BQC) reviews to ensure workstreams meet closure requirements ahead of internal audit assessments.
  • Provide analytical support, requirements analysis, and solution‑design input across relevant project areas.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, producing clear and compelling documentation, visualisations, and presentations.

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience for AVP roles and 5 years’ experience for VP roles within project management, PMO, governance, regulatory change, or similar environments.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, risk/issue tracking, and structured delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent visualisation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly (e.g., PowerPoint, Miro, Visio, or similar tools).
  • Proven stakeholder management capability, including engagement with senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in requirements gathering, problem‑solving, and solution design.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, quality‑control processes, or multi–line‑of‑defence environments.
  • High‑proficiency in standard productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other collaboration platforms.
  • An interest or working knowledge of AI‑enabled or data‑driven delivery approaches is beneficial.
