FDM is a global business and technology consultancy
seeking Senior SAP Project Managers to work for our global Systems Integrator
client. This is initially a 6-month contract with very good prospects to
extend and will be a hybrid role based in Telford or Worthing.
We are seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager for delivery
of large, complex IT and technology projects and programmes for a large end
customer within the Public Sector. In this pivotal
role, you will oversee the delivery and governance of multiple SAP projects and
programmes, acting as a bridge between client leadership, delivery teams, and
technical specialists. You will focus on delivering client value, nurturing
strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful outcomes across a
diverse SAP portfolio. You
will lead planning, implementation, execution, and governance activity,
monitoring budgets, managing resources, resolving escalations, and motivating
multi‑disciplinary teams. You will also contribute to
senior leadership forums and support initiatives to drive quality, efficiency,
and transformation across the SAP landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and
management for project and programme teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery outcomes.
- Govern and oversee a
portfolio of complex SAP projects and programmes across a challenging IT
estate.
- Support business development
activities, including shaping commercial propositions and proposals.
- Take accountability for
delivery across scope, cost, risk, timeline, and quality.
- Manage progress reporting,
financial tracking, and governance using best practice methods.
- Build and maintain strong
client relationships, managing expectations and communicating effectively.
- Lead client negotiations to
agree scope changes, ensuring commercial viability and realistic delivery
plans.
- Establish delivery
priorities, manage risks and dependencies, and engage across multi‑team / multi‑supplier environments.
