About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Agile Delivery Manager / Senior Project Manager to work for our client within the Operations & Digital sector. This is initially a 2 month contract with strong prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London or York (minimum 2–3 days on site, with occasional travel between locations as required).

Our client is seeking a hands‑on delivery leader to maintain momentum across key initiatives, manage stakeholders and provide structure during a short‑term resourcing gap. This role will support multiple digital and operational workstreams, ensure alignment with senior stakeholders and keep delivery on track during a period of transition.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead day‑to‑day delivery across digital and operational initiatives, ensuring progress, alignment and clear prioritisation
  • Manage challenging stakeholders, facilitating collaborative planning and decision making
  • Maintain delivery governance including plans, RAID(RAIDD) items and status reporting
  • Work closely with service leads to ensure risks, dependencies and delivery blockers are addressed
  • Provide short‑term delivery stability and structure during a leadership transition

About You

  • Strong background as an Agile Delivery Manager or Senior Project Manager in fast‑paced environments
  • Confident managing senior and challenging stakeholders across multiple business areas
  • Hands‑on delivery experience including planning, RAID, governance and cross‑functional coordination
  • Comfortable working across London and York, with flexibility to travel between sites
  • Experience with delivery tools such as Jira, MS Project, MS Planner or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in delivery management, agile leadership or senior project management
