Our client is seeking a Principal Metadata Management Lead who will be accountable for defining and designing, implementing through natural teams, and scaling enterprise metadata management and data governance capabilities. Responsibilities:

  • Articulate the positioning, architecture, and value of the Enterprise Data Catalogue, aligning business metadata, reporting, and technical catalogues.
  • Expand catalogue capabilities to support access standardisation and automation, frictionless stewardship, unstructured data cataloguing, and semantic models to enable AI ready data.
  • Drive platform integrated approaches and AI solutions to reduce manual onboarding and improve metadata freshness and maintenance.
  • Act as delegate Product Owner for CAT, capturing business feedback and translating it into an evergreen backlog aligned to the natural team roadmap.
  • Support the design and delivery of FOX, consolidating metadata analytics across platforms and sources to derive insights, reduce costs, and drive efficiencies.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business and technology, leading workshops, demos, and enablement sessions to drive adoption and literacy.
  • Define KPIs and success measures for metadata coverage, quality, and adoption, and author playbooks and standards to support continuous improvement.
