About You

Join a dynamic and globally recognized financial institution within the Operations Division, Corporate Operating Group as a Senior Middle Office Operations Analyst where operational excellence, risk mitigation, and innovation are at the core of everything we do. Our Operations teams play a critical role in supporting global markets by ensuring the accurate and efficient management of the trade lifecycle for complex derivative products. This is an opportunity to be part of a fast paced, collaborative environment that directly contributes to the success of one of the firm’s most important divisions.

Our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end trade lifecycle for SWAPs, including booking, validation, confirmation, and reconciliation, while proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies to reduce operational and financial risk. Working closely with traders, risk management, back-office teams, and external counterparties, you will help ensure smooth workflows, timely settlements, and strong operational controls. The role also offers the opportunity to drive process improvements, leverage key platforms such as Calypso, SPECs, and Traiana, and provide meaningful insights into SWAP portfolios, risk exposure, and lifecycle events. This position is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem solving, and is motivated by continuous improvement in a high performing operational environment. You will be expected to take ownership of issues, investigate root causes, and deliver timely resolutions while maintaining strong relationships across regions. Collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are key to success in this role.

What you offer

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a Middle Office role, with a focus on SWAPs or derivatives
  • Proven track record of managing complex trade lifecycles and resolving operational issues
  • Strong understanding of SWAPs (interest rate, currency, equity, etc.), including pricing, valuation, and risk concepts
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or other LLMs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working with both local and international counterparts
