About The Role

We’re recruiting a full-time Finance Assistant to join our Group Finance team based in Brighton. This role offers exposure to a wide range of financial processes, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their understanding of how finance supports wider business operations.

In this role, you will:
  • Prepare and complete reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances where required
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, resolve queries and support finance-related queries
  • Ensure consistent adherence to finance processes and controls
  • Support month-end activities and help the Group achieve reporting timelines and targets

About You

You will be driven, enthusiastic and committed with a proven track record, demonstrate potential excellence and a desire to go above and beyond.
 
Key Requirements: 
  • Previous experience in a Finance Assistant role (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively and independently
  • A determined character who takes ownership of work and sees tasks through to completion
  • Ability to build excellent rapport with both internal and external international stakeholders
  • Professional business conduct in person, on the telephone, and written communication
  • Strong Excel skills, use of pivot tables, and v-lookup function would be preferable
  • Strong numerical skills
