About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior PMO to work for our client within the Fintech sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

We are supporting a key initiative within one of our Fintech clients to strengthen and evolve its Project Management Office (PMO). The focus of the project is to improve delivery discipline, enhance reporting capability, and ensure greater visibility and accountability across key programmes.

This role will play a central part in stabilising and maturing the PMO function by owning project tracking, refining performance metrics, and driving more effective executive reporting. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will help embed structure, identify gaps, and bring greater consistency to how delivery is managed and communicated.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with PMO or project delivery experience to step into a role with real ownership and visibility, where they can shape reporting, influence ways of working, and grow into a key point of contact within the function.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evolve PMO reporting and dashboards to improve visibility
  • Define and maintain KPIs and performance metrics across projects
  • Produce and present executive-level reports and insights to stakeholders
  • Identify gaps and continuously improve PMO processes and reporting frameworks
  • Drive project tracking and milestone management, ensuring delivery stays on track

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years in direct PMO roles
  • Strong understanding of project delivery (milestones, timelines, dependencies)
  • Experience working with reporting tools such as Power BI (or similar dashboards)
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate insights confidently to senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and grow into an SME role
