About The Role

This is a great opportunity to build your HR career within a fast-paced, people-focused team supporting employees across Singapore and Malaysia. As People Assistant based in Singapore, you will play an important role in helping us deliver a smooth, positive and professional employee experience from onboarding through to day-to-day HR support.

You will gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities, including employee records, employment documentation, payroll and immigration support, employee queries, reporting, benchmarking and people-related projects. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, service-minded and keen to learn, with the confidence to work with detail, handle sensitive information and contribute to a collaborative regional People team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day HR operations matters such as pre-board, on board new hires and employee exits.
  • Conducting and overseeing the background screening check process
  • Maintain and update personal files and company systems
  • Process employment status changes or updates
  • Collate all monthly changes to be processed with our payroll team
  • Handle front-line questions from employees regarding payroll, benefits and other related HR items; escalate issues to payroll or immigration vendors as required, and assist in resolving and responding to queries
  • Support our inhouse consultant with tracking of self-learning reports, assessment progress results and resource management.
  • Generate reports or data requests for internal team, clients and vendors
  • Assist with MOM Surveys
  • Conduct benchmarking research
  • Note take and organise performance reviews and employee relation cases
  • May undertake project based work in the area of employment, L&D, employee engagement, benefits and/or salary administration


About You

What we are looking for:
 
  • Educated to Degree level
  • Proven ability to appropriately handle sensitive information required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and strong focus on service delivery, quality and efficiency
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Strong attention to detail and quick turn around
  • Technically proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Eligible to work in Singapore
