About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Program Manager to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London. 

Our client is seeking a Program Manager lead role in the target operating model design and delivery for Markets Operations & Controls. This will include forming and running numerous workstreams across our group, collaborating with Operations and Controls leads in each of our businesses across the Markets division.

This is a combined Program Management Role. The candidate must be able to Lead, Influence and execute on business analysis and Project Management Office capabilities.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Designing and implementing the target operating model for Market Operations and Controls, seeking input from key senior stakeholders including Head of Businesses, COOs in the business lines and Head of Operations and Controls from across Markets.
  • Develop end to end RACI to determine governance for making key decisions that affect operations processes for the Markets division.
  • Design of future state service model, including defining touch points for customers, outlining service standards and escalation processes.
  • Define key skillsets needed for each Operations team, lead on conducting skills assessments and review training needs for the function as a whole.
  • Work with teams to design and deliver key KPIs and KRIs for operations teams in scope for target operating model re-design
  • Partner with Compliance and CRO teams, work through legal entity and other compliance considerations
  • Ensure each workstream has a delivery roadmap, detailed plans and progress reporting
  • Set up and run program governance including monthly Steering Committees
  • Document business cases, service models (SLAs), KPI documents and other associated project artefacts.

About You

  • 5+ years in operating model design, legal entity considerations, org design, service models and SLAs
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation within financial markets.
  • Strong understanding of FMI operations or global markets and banking operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, governance and communication skills.Ability to influence decision making and negotiate outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to deep dive on detail.
  • Investment banking background
  • Desired professional qualifications such as: Prince II, PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma
