Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of technology and business change initiatives across HR and Finance systems. You will be responsible for leading small to medium-sized projects and key workstreams within larger programmes, managing delivery from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering projects involving Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms and/or enterprise Finance applications and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead small to medium-sized projects and workstreams within a wider programme or portfolio.
  • Manage project delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards and business outcomes.
  • Work with sponsors and stakeholders to develop robust business cases, clearly defining expected benefits and success measures.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, actions, dependencies and decisions, escalating where appropriate.
  • Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage project budgets and resource plans, ensuring effective utilisation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure business change, training, service integration and operational readiness considerations are incorporated into delivery plans.
  • Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and driving best practice project delivery.

About You

  • Proven experience delivering technology and business change projects in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong project governance, project controls and end-to-end SDLC experience.
  • Experience delivering projects involving Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, including Workday (preferred), UKG, Deel HR, or similar solutions.
  • Experience delivering projects involving Finance applications, including Oracle (preferred), SAP, or other enterprise finance platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across business and technology teams.
  • Experience in project planning, resource scheduling, budget management and benefits tracking.
  • A proactive and delivery-focused approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
