About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Project Manager to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 3-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate activities required to achieve a key November ISO certification milestone. The successful candidate will work closely with business, technology, risk, compliance and operational stakeholders to ensure all certification requirements are met, governance is maintained, and the programme remains on track for successful delivery. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong stakeholder management, planning and delivery skills within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of activities required to achieve the November ISO certification milestone.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, information security, risk, compliance and business operations.
  • Facilitate project governance forums, steering committees and stakeholder update meetings.
  • Track, manage and escalate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID) to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor project progress against timelines and provide regular status reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, ensuring evidence and documentation requirements are completed and maintained.
  • Ensure actions arising from gap assessments, audits and remediation plans are tracked through to completion.

About You

  • Proven experience delivering complex projects or programmes within financial services or a highly regulated environment.
  • 5 years+ project management experience with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting regulatory, audit, compliance, information security or certification-related initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience managing RAID logs, project plans, governance and status reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and focus on delivery.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint or similar.
  • Relevant project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent) desirable
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, information security frameworks, or operational risk and controls
