About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Cyber & Security Delivery Lead to work for our client within the healthcare sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

Our client is seeking a 
Cyber & Security Delivery Lead to be responsible for leading delivery across cybersecurity transformation, security platforms, resilience, compliance and risk reduction initiatives. The role partners closely with the CISO, Cyber Leadership Team, Enterprise Delivery, PMO, Architecture, Infrastructure and Product teams to ensure successful execution of the Cyber portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Define and operate governance structures for Cyber programmes.
  • Ensure delivery control across projects and programmes.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
  • Integrate Cyber plans into the enterprise D&T plan.
  • Deliver cyber security outcomes and measurable risk reduction.
  • Lead PMs, Agile teams and supplier performance.
  • Engage stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Manage investment planning, budgets and prioritisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
 
Technology Domain Accountability in partnership with Cyber and Data Lead as applicable:

Cyber Defence & SOC, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Security Engineering, Governance Risk & Compliance, Data Protection & Privacy, Application Security, Business Continuity and Cyber Resilience.

What Good Looks Like:

Programmes delivered predictably; risks identified early; compliance obligations met; cyber investments aligned to business priorities; stakeholders have confidence in delivery governance and reporting.

About You

  • At least 5+ year of cyber security and technology delivery experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programmes across Cyber Defence, Security Operations, Identity & Access Management, Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Data Protection and Cyber Resilience.
  • Demonstrated portfolio and programme leadership within complex global organisations, including responsibility for delivery governance, investment planning, budget management, prioritisation and reporting to senior technology and business stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering cyber initiatives using security technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CyberArk, Okta, Azure Security, cloud security controls and enterprise risk and compliance solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with CISO leadership teams, technology executives, architects, infrastructure teams, product owners, suppliers and business stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies, including management of project managers, Agile delivery teams, third-party suppliers, RAID processes, dependency management and delivery controls.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, regulatory requirements and risk management practices, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, operational resilience and information security governance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risks, identify delivery challenges and implement effective solutions in rapidly changing environments.
  • Experience working within global delivery environments, leading cross-functional teams across multiple regions and supporting enterprise-wide technology and business transformation programmes.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, CISSP, CISM, CRISC and other recognised cyber security, risk management or cloud security qualifications.
