About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 3- month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Remote role.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dynamics 365 Developer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customising, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, architects, and project teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that drive operational efficiency and support business growth.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Develop, customise, and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications and related Power Platform solutions.
  • Design and implement plugins, custom workflows, Power Automate flows, and integrations.
  • Develop custom solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and Azure services.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, and security roles.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain data migration and data management solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
  • Ensure developments follow Microsoft best practices and organisational standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support testing, deployment, and release management activities.

About You

  • Proven experience developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) modules.
  • Experience developing plugins, custom workflow activities, and web resources.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, Web API, and integration methodologies.
  • Experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 security models and solution management.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps and source control platforms such as Git.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
