About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy. We are hiring for Quality Assurance Analysts (AVP Level) for our client, a leading international bank. The role is hybrid and based in Glasgow. The initial contract runs for approximately 2 months, with a clear pathway to permanent employment with the end client, subject to performance and commercial confirmation.

You will join a high-priority Financial Crime programme. Your work will help the bank keep pace with regulatory expectations and customer outcomes. You will assess the effectiveness of processes and controls, and turn what you see into practical improvements.

The role suits people who enjoy spotting patterns, shaping metrics and helping operational teams get better. Your work will influence the frameworks, MI and improvement plans that senior stakeholders rely on.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver quality assurance reviews across Financial Crime, KYC and operational processes.
Assess how well existing policies, procedures and control frameworks are working in practice.
Identify thematic issues, emerging trends and opportunities to improve customer and control outcomes.
Validate that operational teams meet regulatory and internal governance expectations.
Produce management information, quality metrics and clear performance reporting.
Support remediation and continuous improvement activity across the operation.
Work with operations, risk, compliance and audit stakeholders to embed findings.
Contribute to governance packs, assurance reports and audit-readiness activities.

About You

About you:

Around 5 years' experience in Financial Services, Banking or another regulated environment.
Prior work in Quality Assurance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Financial Crime or KYC.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and control frameworks.
Ability to analyse operational data and translate it into practical actions.
Strong written reporting skills for senior audiences.

Nice to have:

Experience producing MI, dashboards or Power BI reporting.
ICA, ACAMS, IIA or an equivalent qualification.
Exposure to internal audit, second-line assurance or regulator-driven improvement work.
