Your fast-track into Hong Kong's biggest AI and data teams
Every model that gets deployed, every pipeline that runs clean, every workflow that runs itself, someone in AI and automation is making it work. That could be you.
At FDM, you bring the curiosity and the drive. We give you the training, the coaching, and the client work to back it up. You'll start in AI and automation engineering, with a clear runway into more senior data, AI and engineering roles as your career builds.
You'll start with up to 12 weeks of full-time training, then move into a client project with one of Hong Kong's leading organisations. A practical way in, and your chance to build a strong professional profile fast.
Our clients sit across banking, investment, insurance, and retail. Your first assignment could see you building data pipelines, fine-tuning LLMs, designing automation workflows, or turning complex datasets into dashboards business teams actually use.
Start dates: August, September, August 2026. Apply now.
Your first 12 weeks
You'll start with training in FDM's Skills Lab, getting hands-on with SQL, Python, ETL, BI tools, agile delivery, and AI integrations. You'll see how modern AI and data teams actually work day to day, and you'll build your AI fluency along the way, because knowing how to work alongside AI is now part of the job.
By the time you step onto your first client assignment, you'll have the practical skills employers ask for, and the confidence to use them.
After training
We match you to a client opportunity that fits your strengths, your interests, and where you want your career to head. You'll join their team, contribute to live work, and keep learning on the job.
Roles you could move into include:
- Data Engineer. Build and maintain the pipelines that ingest, clean, and structure raw data so client teams can analyse it.
- Data Analyst. Dig into datasets, spot the trends that matter, and build the reports that shape business decisions.
- BI Developer. Design and optimise the interactive dashboards that turn complex data into something teams can act on.
- Automation Engineer. Design and deploy workflows that take repetitive work off people's plates and free them for higher-value tasks.
- AI Engineer. Build AI applications with LLMs. Fine-tune models, integrate APIs, and validate the responses clients depend on.
Where it leads: as you build experience on client projects, the path opens up into more senior, technical roles across data engineering, AI engineering, and ML. FDM keeps coaching and learning available the whole way.
