About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to work for our client in the Consultancy sector. 

As an experienced DevSecOps Engineer you will join our client’s dynamic team to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge continuous integration/ Continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, tools and methodologies using Azure DevOps. Our client is transforming its eCommerce websites and cloud applications and you will be playing a critical role in ensuring secure, reliable and scalable solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, driving automation and deployment methodologies.
  • Implement Azure DevSecOps solutions for web transformations involving .NET, Drupal, ReactJS, Apache Camel, MongoDB, and MySQL.
  • Apply Azure well-architected framework to ensure robust cloud infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate bicep skills to provision infrastructure as code.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in automated monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Microsoft
  • Sentinel, and ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with platform and security architects to ensure security policies are integrated into pipelines and deployments.
  • Lead and mentor development teams to shift toward more automated testing, working closely with developers, testers, and SREs to optimise reliability and scalability.
  • Optimise solutions by performing detailed design reviews and creating documentation for TDA meetings and client workshops.
  • Socialise ideas, drive consensus, and prepare prototypes for innovative cloud solutions.
    Identify accelerators and improvements for transforming Azure cloud-native applications.

About You

Requirements 
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure, including knowledge of the Azure well-architected framework.
  • Experience implementing Azure DevSecOps in eCommerce or cloud-native environments.
  • Proficient in CI/CD architecture design and delivery for tools and services including:
  • Azure Application Gateway v2 with WAF
  • Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB vCore
  • Azure Database for MySQL
  • Azure Databricks, DevOps, Event Hubs, Key Vault
  • Apache Camel, Drupal, ReactJS, and AngularJS
  • Testing software such as Apache JMeter, BrowserStack, and Eggplant Performance.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside architects, engineers, SMEs, and delivery teams.
  • Azure certification (Associate level or higher)
