Think you need to be a coding genius to make it in software engineering? You don’t. If you bring your curiosity and drive, we’ll help you build a successful tech career. At FDM, you could be building new features for a banking app, fixing bugs in payment systems, or using real user feedback to improve performance. It's a career that opens doors everywhere.

 Be open to building a tech career in New Zealand or Australia and you could see yourself shaping the user experience of a banking app, turning customer feedback into real features or building a dashboard that helps teams understand why customers leave and how to keep them.

What You’ll Work On   

This isn’t just training for training’s sake. You’ll be solving real-world problems on high-impact projects like:

  •  Building backend APIs that power banking apps used by millions
  •  Creating web features for insurance platforms and seeing them go live
  •  Automating manual processes with scripts and tools that save teams hours
  •  Supporting cloud migrations and writing clean, scalable code
  •  Collaborating with product teams in fast-paced agile environment

About You

 

You don’t need to come from a tech background — we’ll teach you what you need to know. 

We’re looking for:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or higher (any field – from STEM to psychology to business)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia or New Zealand (citizen or permanent resident)     
  •  Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  •  Clear communication, and a willingness to learn
  •  Open to relocating for client projects in Australia or New Zealand (relocation support provided)
 
 
Office attendance required 3-5 days, dependent on client assignment
