About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the Insurance sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in either Edinburgh or Cheshire. 

This role provides critical early analysis and impact assessment for the Targeted Support (ISA and Lump Sum Guidance) initiative, supporting our client's strategic positioning as a leader in delivering personalised, data-driven financial guidance. 

 
Responsibilities: 
 
  •  Provide early analysis support and impact assessment of Targeted support on ISA, understanding the journey changes and reporting requirements
  • Drives the process to define the scope across the 5 workstreams. Understands Risks to delivery and performs benefit analysis
  • Strategic thinking is applied to the analysis output, understanding wider business impacts and dependencies.
  • HL planning for change delivery including estimation of analysis support and any additional BA needs.
  • Drives the change within the challenging timescales.

About You

    • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities across the full project lifecycle.
    • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build strong relationships across Targeted Support teams and operate effectively at all stakeholder levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple workstreams and functions.
    • Expertise in analysis techniques, requirements gathering, and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable outcomes.
    • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with a preference for experience in digital change environments.
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery to support Royal London’s leadership in Targeted Support.
