About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Payroll & T&A Transformation Project Manager  to work for our client within the Banking sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London or Sheffield.

The Payroll & T&A Transformation Project Manager is responsible for delivery of Payroll and Time & Attendance projects, in line with the global strategy. Key activities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the portfolio of Payroll & Time and Attendance projects.
  • Provide support, guidance, and direction across multiple workstreams that form the project, ensuring alignment to scope, governance structures implemented, and to agreed timelines.
  • Manage and present a holistic view across change impacts and interventions; readiness; active Risk, Assumption, Issues, Dependency and Decisions (RAIDD) management; financial planning and tracking (including benefits tracking as appropriate); milestones identification and management; and senior stakeholder management (both within and external to the Group HR function).
  • Track and report that the Project team is resourced appropriately and within budget, taking appropriate actions to manage these aspects when variance is forecast or realised.
  • Track and produce MI on financials, Status, risks etc. working in partnership with Country Leads and Programme Management.
  • Work with country teams and HR Points of Contact (POCs) to organise and gather inputs to inform updates, proposed actions, and recommendations.
  • Enforce the robust governance structures that are in place and adhering to the Group Business Transformation Framework, to facilitate effective programme delivery in line with financial, FTE and key milestone targets.

Responsibilities:

Impact to the Business

Customers and Stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with all key stakeholders across the HR function and beyond.

  • Build and sustain commitment to long term goals across multiple teams - drive people advocacy, trust, confidence, and integrity to inspire enthusiasm for achieving these.
  • Promote the value of challenging the status quo, seeking to improve ways of working and having a forward-thinking mind-set, in line with the client's Values and Strategy.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

  • Manage, measure and track change impacts as a result of the project
  • Ensure project delivery does not have a detrimental impact to BAU service.
