About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Product Owner / Delivery Lead to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract role with strong potential for extension and will be a hybrid role, with the office location in Stratford, London

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Owner / Delivery Lead to support an agile, proofofconceptdriven programme focused on digital, data, and emerging technology initiatives. This role combines handson delivery leadership with strong stakeholder engagement in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the endtoend delivery of agile initiatives, including discovery phases, proofofconcepts, MVPs, and iterative enhancements.
  • Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and prioritised backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic and regulatory objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and delivery governance, promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all product development and delivery activities comply with relevant governance, security, data protection, and regulatory standards.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience operating as a Product Owner and/or Delivery Lead within agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and datadriven solutions, with the ability to shape and prioritise product backlogs.
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools, including Angular (front end), C# and JavaScriptbased frameworks, and Python/Django.
  • Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and emerging AI technologies, with awareness of delivery and governance considerations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for nontechnical audiences.
