About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Agile Coach/Scrum Master to work for our client within the transport sector. This is initially a 3 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

The Scrum Master & Agile Coach will drive alignment across newly formed product delivery teams and establish a common framework for agile delivery. This role is pivotal in fostering cultural transformation, enabling high-performing teams, and ensuring delivery aligns with business priorities.

 
Responsibilities:
 
Agile Delivery Leadership:
 
  •  Facilitate PI Planning sessions and support delivery execution.
  •  Ensure adherence to agile principles and frameworks across teams
Coaching and Mentoring:
 
  •  Coach teams toward self-organisation, continuous improvement, and agile maturity.
  •  Provide guidance to Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and stakeholders on agile best practices.
 Cultural Transformation:
 
  •  Promote transparency, collaboration, and a culture of accountability.
  •  Champion agile values and principles to embed them into organisational practices.
 Alignment & Governance:
 
  •  Drive consistency in delivery processes across product teams.
  • Support the implementation of a common framework for planning and reporting.
Key Deliverables:
 
  •  Successful facilitation of PI Planning sessions and alignment of objectives.
  • Delivery of agreed business priorities within committed timelines.
  • Implementation of a standardised agile framework across product teams.
  • Regular reporting on agile maturity and delivery performance metrics.
  • Documented continuous improvement initiatives and outcomes.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach in a scaled agile environment (e.g., SAFe).
  • Strong facilitation skills for PI Planning and other agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  •  Ability to influence cultural change and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of agile metrics and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent agile certification preferred.
  • ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) or similar.
