 to support a project in the financial  sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 24 months but may be extended.

This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.

Role Summary

The Feature Lead will serve as the Application Manager for a mission‑critical healthcare platform, partnering closely with a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Line of Business stakeholders, vendors, and internal technology teams. This individual will be responsible for prioritizing work, managing assignments, coordinating risk remediation, and ensuring delivery across multiple applications and environments.

The role also owns all compliance, risk, and governance deliverables (including AIT, RISE, ADSM, and related controls) associated with the application. Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills are essential to drive consistent execution across agile teams and shared environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Release Train Engineer to manage work intake, prioritization, and delivery commitments across initiatives and BAU work
  • Provide end‑to‑end application ownership, including compliance, risk management, and audit readiness (AIT, RISE, ADSM, etc.)
  • Act as the primary liaison between Line of Business stakeholders, vendors, and internal technology teams
  • Coordinate deployments and releases across non‑production and production environments
  • Serve as an environment coordinator, ensuring consistent and controlled use of environments during patching, upgrades, and releases
  • Collaborate with Senior Technology Managers, other Feature Leads, CTO partners, and Level 2 production support teams
  • Identify, track, and remediate delivery risks and dependencies
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, agile practices, and enterprise standards

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5–7 years of midrange programming and technical experience (e.g., Java, SQL, Oracle, Exadata, Linux/RHEL, server administration)
  • Strong experience in application management, deployment coordination, and meeting delivery commitments on time and within budget
  • Demonstrated experience in technical project management
  • Hands‑on experience supporting web‑based applications
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proven experience coordinating deployments through multiple non‑production and production environments
  • Release and deployment planning and execution experience
  • Experience working with vendor‑supported applications where vendors build and maintain solutions
  • Experience planning and implementing software and hardware changes, patches, and upgrades
  • Proven experience working in an agile delivery environment within a defined engineering or delivery role
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, reporting, and execution discipline
  • Positive, proactive, and results‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership

Desired Skills

  • Advanced SQL optimization and performance tuning experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims processing systems
  • Familiarity with EDI X12 standards and file formats
  • Experience with Permit to Send / Permit to Operate processes
  • Experience promoting and maturing agile methodologies
  • Prior team lead or people management experience
  • Experience with environment management and release management
