Network Engineer- Edinburgh

• Background in 2nd and 3rd line IT Support
• Strong understanding of networking principles including OSI, TCP/IP and Ethernet
• CCNA or CCNP certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Experience with network security, firewalls, proxy servers and load balancers
• Working knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP
• Knowledge of VOIP (SIP) technologies
• Experience with VMware, Unix, enterprise storage and performance or capacity monitoring
• Understanding of backup and recovery tools, enterprise back‑office systems and process automation
• Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies
