FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 4 month contract with strong prospects to extend and will be a Hybrid role based in Cheshire, Edinburgh, or Glasgow.
The successful candidate will support a major, multiyear transformation programme involving the transition of operations, data, people, and technology into a new strategic environment. This includes the movement of colleagues, operational capability, data migration to target platforms, and the enhancement of supporting technologies such as telephony, workflow and CRM solutions.
We are looking for someone with experience in large‑scale transitions or complex change environments—capable of navigating operational, technical and people‑centric change to ensure a smooth, well‑governed and high‑quality transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of medium to large change initiatives, including defining scope.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive engagement.
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, document NFRs, and conduct current vs. future state analysis.
- Analyse processes and data, presenting options and recommendations.
- Produce high‑quality documentation ensuring traceability and adherence to standards.
- Define user acceptance criteria.
- Work independently using the full BA toolkit.
- Perform peer reviews and incorporate feedback.
- Contribute to the evolution of BA best practices.
