About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking PMO / Project Managers to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Glasgow

Our client is s
eeking experienced PMO / Project Managers to support the delivery of programmes and projects within a Financial Services environment. These roles will suit hard working, highly organised and diligent professionals who have experience operating across PMO leadership and hands-on project delivery, with a strong focus on governance, planning, and stakeholder management.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered end-to-end in line with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while supporting the organisation’s transition towards Agile ways of working.

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead and support end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectations
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and core documentation across the full project lifecycle
  • Provide effective stakeholder management, including clear communications, status updates, and governance reporting
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues appropriately
  • Support benefits realisation and OKR planning, tracking progress and outcomes
  • Contribute to change governance activities, including milestone tracking, change requests, and governance forums
  • Support resource planning and project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control (where applicable)
  • Produce high-quality management information, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PMO, PMO Lead, or Project Manager roles
  • End‑to‑end project delivery experience (scope, timeline, budget, quality)
  • Strong background in project planning, RAID, and governance reporting
  • Confident stakeholder management with clear communication and escalation
  • Experience identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Exposure to benefits tracking / OKRs preferred
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Highly organised, diligent, and delivery‑focused
Desirable:
 
  • Financial Services or regulatory programme experience desirable but not essential. 
  • Exposure to CDO‑led initiatives or enterprise change
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • Resource planning and project financials (budgeting, forecasting)
