About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Enterprise PMO Business Partner to work for our client within the Financial services sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the project team execute the change initiatives (project, program, small change) in adherence to the 
    Project Management Policy and Framework (Pegasus) governance of projects. 
  • Ensures that the project team effectively monitor and report on the execution and tracking progress of 
    individual projects, track milestones, schedule deviations, overall costs, risk and issues, budget, etc. 
  • Provide advice and guidance to the project manager to ensure the project adheres to procedures 
  • Deploy & apply a set of consistent ePMO processes, tools and templates across projects and overall portfolio 
  • Qualitative review of specific project artefacts (RAIDs, Business Cases, etc) 
  • Provide guidance in identification and tracking the RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) process 
    Interface with 2nd and 3rd lined of defence 
  • Effectively support implementation of ePMO best practices 
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and training on ePMO controls and Project Management practices 
  • Ensure consistency of governance, reporting and control disciplines across projects 
  • Help bring resolution any potential problems and escalates issues to the appropriate stakeholder or 
    governance forum 
  • Support ePMO in internal initiatives and carry out ad hoc tasks as required

About You

  • Formal training or certification in Project Management Certification (MSP/PRINCE2/PMI/P3O/ etc) 
  • Understands and has practical experience of both running projects/programs, and supporting portfolio / 
    programs / projects in an ePMO capacity  
  • Strong Change Management skillset 
  • Proven experience supporting major programs, projects and portfolios, preferably requiring interaction with 
    regulators, either from a policy or supervisory perspective. 
  • Previous experience working within a highly regulated industry (ideally Financial Services) 
  • Proficiency with project tools including but not limited to MS Project, Enterprise PPM tools (e.g. Planview 
    PPMPro, Smartsheet, Jira, Clarity PPM etc.) 
  • Advanced in Microsoft: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word 
  • Experience in solutions planning, project management methodologies, and performance metrics 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • High ethical standards and a profound sense of integrity and confidentiality. 
  • Champion and drive change in a rapidly developing environment with multiple competing priorities. 
  • Confident, assertive with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation 
  • Demonstrable ability to work in a pressurized and challenging environment 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential 
  • Have professional presentation skills, including excellent public speaking capabilities 
  • Ability to lead (e.g. individual stakeholder sessions, group workshops etc.)
