About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager (Delivery Lead – Data Migration Programme) to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 3-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to act as a Delivery Lead, responsible for driving a large-scale data migration programme. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering critical data transformation initiatives, ensuring robust governance, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution across complex, multi-stream environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale data migration programme
Develop and manage detailed programme plans, timelines, and delivery milestones
Coordinate cross-functional teams across data, technology, and business units
Establish governance frameworks, including RAID logs, reporting, and steering committee updates
Manage senior stakeholders, providing clear communication on progress, risks, and dependencies
Identify and mitigate delivery risks, ensuring the programme stays on track
Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and regulatory requirements
Oversee third-party vendors and internal delivery teams to ensure alignment and performance

About You

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Delivery Lead on large-scale data migration or data transformation programmes
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and migration strategies
Experience operating within enterprise-level data or transformation programmes
Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders and complex delivery environments
Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar programme management tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in project/programme delivery
