FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Platform Engineer to work for our client within the marketing technology / financial services sector. This is initially a 4-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Johannesburg.
Our client is seeking a candidate to support the build and execution of targeted, data-driven marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Working as part of a fast-paced, delivery-focused team, this role will be responsible for translating approved campaign briefs into configured customer journeys and communications across channels including Email, SMS and Push. The role is key to ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed business timelines, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, testing and minimal defects.
Responsibilities:
- Build and configure campaigns and customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Translate campaign briefs into functional journey setups with the correct logic and sequencing
- Implement audience segmentation, splits, suppressions and scheduling requirements
- Build and format campaign content using approved templates and copy
- Ensure campaign activity aligns with business requirements and campaign specifications
- Carry out QA and pre-launch testing to ensure accuracy and quality
- Support the timely deployment of campaigns across Email, SMS and Push channels
- Manage multiple campaign builds concurrently in a fast-paced delivery environment
