About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a French-Speaking Project Manager to work for our client within the Financial Services / FinTech sector. This is initially a 24-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Edinburgh, Scotland, with regular travel to client offices in Paris, France and Luxembourg.
 
Our client is embarking on a significant two-year transformation programme within its Securities Finance and Collateral Management business. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex business transformation initiative across the UK, France, and Luxembourg. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving strategic change, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and successful project outcomes within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale business transformation programme.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks.
• Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple project workstreams to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
• Travel regularly to client offices in Paris and Luxembourg to support stakeholder engagement, workshops, governance meetings, and project delivery activities.

About You

Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management, Programme Management, Business Transformation, or Change Delivery.
• Experience working on international transformation programmes involving geographically dispersed stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Experience within Securities Finance, Collateral Management, Trading, Operations, or Post-Trade environments would be advantageous.
• Strong project management expertise using methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery frameworks.
