About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme within the Pensions sector. This is an initial 12-month contract with strong extension potential and will be a remote role although the preferred location for candidates will be Glasgow, Edinburgh or Cheshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a strategic Workplace Pensions platform. Working within agile delivery squads, you will play a key role in gathering requirements, engaging stakeholders, and helping deliver business-critical solutions.

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Act as the lead Business Analyst within an agile squad, supporting analysis activities from initiation through to delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to elicit, define and refine business requirements.
  • Produce high-quality analysis artefacts, including user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, process maps and options papers.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage multiple workstreams whilst ensuring delivery against project timelines and business objectives. 

About You

  • Proven Business Analysis experience within the Workplace Pensions sector.
  • Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments and cross-functional squads.
  • Experience documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and BDD requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience producing business requirements documents, process maps and other key analysis deliverables.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently whilst building strong relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Comfortable working across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
