About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Cyber & Security Delivery Lead to work for our client within the Healthcare sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a 
Cyber & Security Delivery Lead to lead delivery across cybersecurity transformation, security platforms, resilience, compliance and risk reduction initiatives. The role partners closely with the CISO, Cyber Leadership Team, Enterprise Delivery, PMO, Architecture, Infrastructure and Product teams to ensure successful execution of the Cyber portfolio.

Deliver a secure, resilient and compliant digital environment that protects the client's people, data and technology assets while enabling business growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Define and operate governance structures for Cyber programmes.
  • Ensure delivery control across projects and programmes.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
  • Integrate Cyber plans into the enterprise D&T plan.
  • Deliver cyber security outcomes and measurable risk reduction.
  • Lead PMs, Agile teams and supplier performance.
  • Engage stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Manage investment planning, budgets and prioritisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Technology Domain Accountability in partnership with Cyber and Data Lead as applicable:

Cyber Defence & SOC, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Security Engineering, Governance Risk & Compliance, Data Protection & Privacy, Application Security, Business Continuity and Cyber Resilience.

What Good Looks Like:

Programmes delivered predictably; risks identified early; compliance obligations met; cyber investments aligned to business priorities; stakeholders have confidence in delivery governance and reporting.

About You

    • At least 10 years of experience leading large-scale cyber security, risk, compliance and technology transformation programmes within complex enterprise environments, with accountability for delivery, governance, budget management and strategic outcomes.
    • Strong understanding of cyber security domains including Cyber Defence, Security Operations (SOC), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Security Engineering, Data Protection, Application Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance and Cyber Resilience.
    • Proven portfolio and programme leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, investment priorities, dependencies, risks, issues and executive-level reporting.
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience partnering with CISO leadership teams, PMOs, Architecture, Infrastructure, Product and business stakeholders to drive successful delivery and decision-making.
    • Experience leading project managers, Agile delivery teams and third-party suppliers, ensuring consistent delivery controls, governance standards, performance management and continuous improvement.
    • Expertise in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies, including programme governance, RAID management, budget oversight, planning, forecasting and resource prioritisation.
    • Strong understanding of information security frameworks, regulatory compliance and risk management practices, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, operational resilience and enterprise governance standards.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to identify risks early, drive measurable risk reduction, align cyber investments to business priorities and maintain stakeholder confidence in delivery performance.
    • Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent programme management and cyber security qualifications.
