About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Software Engineer to work for our client within the Finance sector. This is initially a short-term engagement through to 31 December. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute quickly with minimal onboarding and work effectively within an established development environment.

About You

Requirements:

Strong software engineering background with the ability to hit the ground running.
Commercial experience in at least two of the following technologies:
- C#
- Python
- TypeScript
Experience developing, maintaining and supporting production applications.
Ability to work independently and contribute within an existing team structure.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Desirable Skills

Experience across all three core technologies (C#, Python and TypeScript).
Full-stack development experience.
Exposure to cloud platforms and modern software development practices.
Experience working on business-critical or enterprise-scale applications.

Ideal Candidate

Self-sufficient engineer requiring minimal ramp-up time.
Proven track record of delivering quality code in fast-paced environments.
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting quickly to existing processes and codebases.
